Beginning at January 31, 2019, Microsoft will start retiring the Virtual Academy website. One of the first retired pieces will be the ability to earn completion certificates for the courses taken.

Microsoft hasn’t really invested much into the MVA website for quite some time now, and content is slowly aging. On the other hand, Microsoft has actually invested a lot into the other learning portals like Microsoft Learn (which is really cool!) and EDX.

If you’re preparing for Microsoft certification or other trainings, I would encourage you to start using the new Microsoft Learn portal since it’s quite actual and also contains hands-on labs to accelerate your learning journey.
